Help us Help is a collaboration of local charities, Changing Sheff, SHU, University of Sheffield, Sheffield BID, Safer Communities Partnership and other services.

We share information about the support available to people rough sleeping and begging in Sheffield, along with providing advice and guidance for businesses and the general public about how to best support people on the streets.

People find themselves rough sleeping or begging for many different reasons, including bad luck. Their needs are varied and complex.

Read our newspaper which shares stories from people accessing support on the streets in Sheffield, updates from services, and positive ways you can support our campaign. Our 2018 newspaper can be read, here.

Sheffield City Council and partners carried out a survey with rough sleepers to find out how we can improve services for them. Hearing their voices means that we can see how rough sleeping can affect all areas of a person’s life. Read the short report here, the longer report here, or watch our video to find out more.
